We perform more than 300 neuroendovascular interventions every year!
Guilherme Dabus, MD
Dr. Dabus is an interventional neuroradiologist. He completed his neuroradiology and interventional neuroradiology/endovascular neurosurgery fellowships at Northwestern University (1 year), Washington University (1 year) followed by two years at Massachusetts General Hospital – Harvard Medical School. He has several publications including peer-reviewed manuscripts and book chapters, and works as a reviewer for several scientific journals including Stroke, European Journal of Neurology, Clinical Neurology and Neurosurgery, Journal of Neuroimaging, Journal of Endovascular Therapy, Journal of Stroke & Cerebrovascular Diseases and Journal of NeuroInterventional Surgery. Dr. Dabus is senior member of the Society of NeuroInterventional Surgery (former American Society of Interventional and Therapeutic Neuroradiology) and an active member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons/ Congress of Neurological Surgeons Cerebrovascular Section. He is an Assistant Professor of Radiology and Neurological Surgery at Feinberg School of Medicine of Northwestern University and serves as the Assistant Director of the Northwestern Neuroendovascular Program and Director of Neuroangiography at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
Bernard R. Bendok, MD
Dr. Bendok is a neurovascular surgeon. He completed his neuroendovascular fellowships at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and at SUNY University, Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Bendok is currently the co-director of the Neuroendovascular Program at Northwestern.
Ali Shaibani, MD
Dr. Shaibani is a neuroradiologist. He completed his neuroendovascular fellowship at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. He also trained under the tutelage of the 1st interventional neuroradiologist in the state of Illinois, Northwestern’s very own Dr. Eric Russell. Dr. Shaibani is an Associate Professor of Radiology and Neurosurgery at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
